EMMY WINNER DEBRA MESSING RETURNS IN THE

EMMY AWARD-WINNING HIT SERIES
”THE STARTER WIFE”
PREMIERING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10 AT 9/8C
ON USA NETWORK

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – August, 2008 – The Emmy Award-winning hit original series, THE STARTER WIFE, starring Debra Messing returns with a 2 hour premiere on Friday, October 10 at 9pm/8c on USA Network.  Future episodes will premiere on Fridays at 10pm/9c. The series focuses on the post-divorce adventures of the lead character, Molly Kagan (Messing), as she begins a new chapter in her life.  On the heels of its stellar ratings and Emmy success, USA is bringing back the hit miniseries of 2007 with ten exciting episodes, with Emmy Award-winner Messing returning to star and now serving as executive producer.  This season, the series is being filmed entirely in Los Angeles.

Reprising their roles are three-time Emmy Award-winner Judy Davis (“Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadow”) as Joan McAllister and Chris Diamantopoulos (“Behind the Camera: Mork & Mindy”) as Rodney – Molly’s two best friends.  Also returning this season as a special guest star is Joe Mantegna (“Criminal Minds”) as Lou Manahan, former studio head and former boyfriend of Molly.  Davis won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her role as Joan in 2007.  This is the first time both Davis and Diamantopoulos have been cast as regulars in a series.

Joining the regular cast of THE STARTER WIFE are David Alan Basche (“Lipstick Jungle”) as Kenny Kagan, Molly’s ex-husband; Danielle Nicolet (“Heartland”) as Liz Marsh, Molly’s new friend and the wife of an LA pro-baseball player; Brielle Barbusca (“Hope & Faith”) as Jaden, Molly and Kenny’s daughter; and Hart Bochner (“Die Hard”) as Zach, Molly’s new love interest and writing class professor.  Guest stars include Reggie Austin (“Notes from the Underbelly”), as Devon Marsh, Liz’s husband; Ronny Cox (“The Agency”) as Pappy, Joan’s husband; Daniel Gerroll (“Cashmere Mafia”) as David Shea, a controversial movie star who Joan meets in rehab; James Black (“All of Us”) as Felix, a successful action star with a secret; Krista Allen (“Unscripted”) as Eve, Molly’s nemesis at her daughter’s school; Alia Shawkat (”Arrested Development”) as Robin, a troubled girl that Joan befriends in rehab and Eddie Cibrian (“Ugly Betty”) as a detective investigating some suspicious events in Molly’s life.

The Emmy, WGA and PGA-nominated writing team of Josann McGibbon & Sara Parriott (“Runaway Bride”) return as executive producers along with Gigi Levangie Grazer, who penned the New York Times bestselling novel on which the miniseries was based.  The project is produced by Universal Cable Productions in association with McGibbon/Parriott Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment.  Stephanie Davis (“The Caveman’s Valentine”), Howard Klein (“The Office,” “Carnivale”) and Molly Madden (“Picture Perfect”) also serve as executive producers for 3 Arts.

Despite his tragic death in 2005, Comedy Central Records will be releasing the final comedy album from Mitch Hedberg, Do You Believe in Gosh on September 9^th.

 Here is a little bit of background on the record:

 “Do You Believe in Gosh” is the long-awaited third album from the comedy icon, Mitch Hedberg, set for release on COMEDY CENTRAL Records on Tuesday, September 9.

Recorded two months prior to his death, the album contains nearly 40 minutes of previously unreleased stand-up material. The CD captures most of the material Hedberg was working on for what would have been his next full-length album in a free-form show with a large amount of audience interaction.  The album pulses with Hedberg’s inimitable wit and spirit and is a document of a comedy master.

Mitch Hedberg was one of the most beloved comedians and world renown for his off-kilter one-liners and inimitable style.  He died in March of 2005 with nearly an album’s worth of new material he was preparing to record later that October.  While he never got a chance to record the album as he wanted, “Do You Believe In Gosh?” was taped live just prior to his passing and captures a large portion of his new jokes.

company.  I am organizing a boycott of them in hopes that they will
reverse their decision.  It is capitalism at its worst.

I ended up with an older woman at the club bar last night.  She looked pretty good for a 60 year old.  In fact, she wasn’t too bad at all.   I found myself thinking that she probably had  a pretty hot daughter.

We drank a bit and then she asked, “Have you ever had a Sportsman’s Double?”

“What’s that?” I asked.

“It’s a mother and daughter threesome,” she said.

I wondered what this daughter of hers might look like and my mind began to embrace the idea.  I said, “No, I haven’t had a mother and daughter threesome.”

We drank a bit more and then she says with a wink, “Tonight is your lucky night.”

We drove to her place.  We walked in, she put on the hall light and shouted upstairs, “Mom!  You still awake?”

Here’s a quick shout to those who want to make money online.

If you have a website or a blog and want to try to earn some money, here is an option.

First of all, I fought pornography on my website for years.  I added it, then thought about it and deleted it.  Finally, it came down to this, “People Want Porn.”  I try not to post overt sexual stuff on my site, just hot stuff.  But this one, if managed right, can earn you some green and you will still be a totally legit site.  This site has paid me more than any other for the business I have brought them.  Be careful of their rotating banners cause you might get something you don’t want.  But if you pick the banners, you will be safe.   And I only order once a week!  (joke)

And in reality, this site is NOT pornography.  However, they sell it.  But they also sell a lot of other stuff that people want to “spice up” their lives with their partners.  So I’m not against it at all, but I am careful about the banners I post.

Even if you don’t have a website but want to earn money, you can.  If you send e-mails, you can create a “signature” for your e-mails with one of their banners or links to earn you money.  Just a thought.  Check out their site and if you think you could earn some cash, go for it.  If not, disregard.  However, this website has MORE than paid for this site over the last 5 years.
